Thomas from Sweden founded the Elfwood Project in 1996 and build most of this web site. He is a hobby fantasy artist as well, and has done some pictures of faeries, warriors and wizards.

Hi! I'm Thomas, the guy from Sweden who founded the Elfwood project back in May 96. I once studied Computer Science & Art history and have a masters degree in C.S. I work as a UI designer, programmer and sometimes business developer...
I don't seem to get enough time nor inspiration to paint nowadays (Except doodles), so my total production (almost) of pictures that I'm satisfied with is shown below. Think of it as a nice archive.
I tend draw my pictures using both traditional techniques like charcoal and ink, but I sometimes utilize programs like Photoshop. Recently, I have done a few color pictures using watercolour, an interesting experience which gave some quite neat, colourful results.
It was I who came up with the idea and concept of Elfwood, and I founded the site back in May '96 (Under the name of Lothlorien) I have done all the web layout and most of the programming that"s behind this site (pike- and javascripts/extranet/etc). So far, I must admit that I"m quite satisfied with the result of my efforts!
My favourite fantasy authors are GRR Martin, Gene Wolfe, Tolkien, Gaiman, Brin and Pratchett. When it comes to art, I like fantasy art by John Bauer, Elmore and Giger!

Hello Thomas, I just want to warn you about some problems with links. When I create a link that leads out of Elfwood, for example on Youtube, it works for a while and then it just stops. I don´t know if it is just my case, but I think you should look into it. If that is not some kind of Elfwood policy for links of course...

Heya Thomas! um, yea, just wanted to say hi, and, also, on one of my pics, i know people have written comments but on the comment box it says that none have been written, and it’s only when i write a comment and submit it that i can see the other comments. Why is this? And please PLEASE PLEEEEZ could you/one of the mods fix it? sorry to disturb you. The picture is called "Emostar and Kate."

Heya, I had or have a pic on my gallery called ’Em and Eli’ that seems to have vanished suddenly. I would like to know why if that’s possible as I have now thoroughly searched my entire gallery about 7 times and it’s not there anymore. 8 4
